Do you remember the all girl, oops all lady band by the name of Klymaxx? Back in the 80's they had a pretty firm grip on the industry's attention with some classic songs. Meeting in the Ladies Room, I Miss You, and The Men All Pause come immediately come to mind. My favorite Klymaxx song though, the one that makes me smile whenever I hear it is Man Size Love.
That could be due to it being a fun song, like most of Klymaxx's tunes. Or it might have something to do with lead singer Lorena Porter's smooth vocals over an infectious groove. Who am I kidding? I love this song primarily due to it's direct relation to one of my all time favorite movies, Running Scared with Gregory Hinds and Billy Crystal.
That doesn't mean this song isn't a great song, on the contrary. It's brilliantly arranged and produced by Rod Temperton, the man behind much of Michael Jackson's success. This is the second song I have blogged about off that movie soundtrack so that should tell you something about that movie. It's got one hell of a soundtrack. Enjoy!
